I think you are saying whether it is necessary to get a band of 7 in all modules of IELTS to get a student visa.

Are you planning to come to Sydney as a student or trying to get a Temporary work permit visa subclass 475?

If you are discussing the student visa subclass 573, then NO, it is not necessary to attain 7 band in all modules.

Yes there are lots of part time jobs which involve community welfare or aged health care. Try to do a course in first aid and aged care and it will be very easy to get a part time job.

Once you come to Sydney, contact me and I will get you a part time job.

Kind Regards

Hi...I am fishta from indonesia.I will study for master of professional accounting at Charles Darwin University, NT On MArch or July 2009 (depend on my IELTS score) I have a planing like you to get Australia PR before i finished my study.
I just want to ask you, why you don't apply your PR after you arrive on sydney, I mean before you finished your study? Is it difficult to get it?Some migration agent advises me to apply PR before i arrive in australia, because of i pass the minimum point of PR score.

@Fishta

You can apply for Australian permanent residency through two different ways

1. Onshore migration

2. Offshore migration

I decided to apply for onshore migration which requires a person to study for two years in Australia. After you have studied in Australia for two years and have passed the pool mark, then, you can get PR.

You can also apply for offshore migration which doesnt require you to study in Australia for two years however, you need to pass the points test.

Hope this answers the question.

Hi Junaid,

I have the option of giving IELTS in India (if I book by tommorow) or give IELTS in Australia?

Is it true that IELTS in General category could be easier in India. Does the level of difficulty in the Speaking section differ because of accents?

I had appeared for IELTS in 2005 in India and my score was L:7.5, R:6.0, W: 6, S: 7, O: 6.5

Also, in regards to your reply @Fishta's comment: if I am applying for onshore immigration and have scored the required pool mark. Then can I consider myself to be eligible for immigration?

Thanks heaps!

@^^

Well I will not be able to comment on the level of difficulty of IELTS in Australia and India.

I think the standard is the same all over the world.

If you score 120 points and fulfill all the pre-requisites of onshore migration then yes you are eligible for PR.

Kind Regards
